Not Again?
I believe that Mount Vesuvius may erupt again. With over 1500 volcanos active in the world and with 50-60 Volcanoes erupting every year. This volcano is a ticking time bomb. This is because we know the year but we don't know the dates that it erupted which means that without that information we could possibly detect the year but not what month, day or time. Volcanoes don't follow a pattern so you cant determine whether it will erupt again.
Once the volcano has stopped erupting, magma still grows and forces its way up and builds enough force to create a second eruption. I don't believe that the future explosion wouldn't be as horrible and destructive as before. Considering its the only Volcano active in Europe and on the Eurasian plate it does mean that there is chance of this volcano to erupt due to it being the only one in the area is relatively high and because it hasn't erupted in over thousands of years it may have been building up all this pressure or it could have slowly be dying out.
